| Nirvaan Nirvaan 2006 Nirvaan, the Annual Entrepreneurship Event at IIM Lucknow would be conducted conducted by Abhiyan in August/September 2006. It is an initiative guided towards fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship among the younger generation of India. Nirvaan showcases the best of India’s entrepreneurs, allows the participants get a chance to interact closely with them, to understand what goes into making India’s top entrepreneurs. Nirvaan 2005 It was the grand finale of Nirvaan 2005 in IIM Lucknow. From over 550 participants with around 170 business plans, eight teams made it to the final round. It was not the 1 lakh worth prize money but the six lakh worth incubation by venture capitalists to the teams that made the final presentations unique. The eminent evaluation team comprised angel investors like Sanjay Bhargava (Founder paypal), Alok Mittal, and Nihal Devki who is a Venture Capitalist from Indiaco. Nirvaan 2004 It was surprising to see IIM Lucknow campus bustling with activity on the 15th of August, despite it being a national holiday and a Sunday to boot. Nirvaan, the countrywide intrapreneurship business plan contest organized by Abhiyan (the Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Cell of IIM Lucknow) was responsible for all this activity.
