Induction Program

STEX makes sure that the students have absolutely no trouble from the time they land in Lucknow.

STEX has a full-fledged program to induct exchange students into the IIM L community. The students are provided information on the courses that would best suit their requirements, they are shown around the campus, and around Lucknow.

The Student Exchange Cell of IIM Lucknow organizes numerous events throughout the year to provide our exchange students a rich cultural experience. Our flagship event is the Student Exchange Cultural Nite with performances from the exchange students.

Multicuisine Dinner

The exchange students get a chance to showcase cuisines from their countries at a gala banquet for the whole IIM L community in October every year. The students decorate the Students Mess for a Candle Light dinner making it one of the most looked for events on campus.

Other activities 

The exchange students also get to participate in all activities on campus. On the sports front we organize friendly matches in soccer, basketball and volleyball between Exchange students and IIML teams. On the festival of Diwali “The Festival of Lights” the exchange students compete to decorate hostels with lights and colors. It’s always a great sight to find exchange students in Indian robes, Sarees for the ladies and Kurta for the gentlemen.

The exchange students also participate in the various competitions organized by the special interest groups (SIGS) on campus.
